Federal Environmental Operator Federal State Unitary Enterprise (FEO FSUE)

FEO FSUE is a specialized organization subordinate to Rosatom State Corporation responsible for managing waste of various hazard classes in the Russian Federation. The enterprise contributes significantly to ensuring the population's ecological well-being and country's sustainable development. As the federal operator for managing class I and II hazardous waste in Russia, FEO FSUE develops the national hazardous waste management system, ensures hazardous waste is tracked and controlled via own digital platform (FGIS OPVK), and builds infrastructure for hazardous waste disposal.
FEO FSUE is engaged in eliminating accumulated environmental damage sites in 10 Russian regions including the most complex ones such as: the territories of the former Baikal Pulp and Paper Mill and Usolyekhimprom in Irkutsk region, the Krasny Bor industrial waste landfill in Leningrad region and others. The most effective technological solutions are developed by FEO FSUE in collaboration with the scientific community and government authorities.
